Account Manager

We are offering an exciting role for an astute, initiative-taking person to join our team in the position of Account Manager, servicing clients in the greater Sydney area. This position is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced sales professional looking to join an industry leader.

Demonstrated experience establishing new customers and collaborating with an existing customer base are key to growth and relationship development to ensure long term positive outcomes. 

This position is based in Western Sydney, with regular travel around Sydney and surrounding areas.

The Account Manager is responsible to:

  • Initiate, cultivate, and enhance customer relationships.
  • Communicate important industry trends and operational changes to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the State and National teams to develop and implement business development plans aligned with organisational objectives.
  • Maintain and expand relationships with existing clients, ensuring elevated levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify potential areas for growth.
  • Prepare and present sales forecasts, reports, and analysis to State and National Management teams.

For this role you will have:

  • A passion for interacting with clients to understand their business needs and challenges.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Exceptional customer service, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work alone but also collaborate with colleagues.
  • Be able to look at the client’s business from their viewpoint, not just sell them what we do.
  • Knowledge of the commercial construction industry is preferable.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills, coupled with computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft programs and ideally an ERP system.
